Cytomegalovirus (CMV) is a virus found worldwide. It is related to the viruses that cause chickenpox and infectious mononucleosis. Between 50 and 80% of adults in the United States have had a CMV infection before the age of 40. Once CMV enters a person's body, it stays there forever.
CMV can be transmitted through direct contact with body fluids. Most people with CMV do not become ill and do not know they are infected. However, infection with the virus can be serious in babies and people with a weakened immune system. If a woman acquires CMV during pregnancy, she can pass it on to the baby. Generally, these babies do not have health problems. But some may develop lifelong disabilities.
A blood test can determine if a person has been infected with the virus. Most people with CMV do not need treatment. If you have a weakened immune system, your doctor may prescribe antiviral medicine. Good hygiene practices, including proper hand washing, can prevent infections.
A person with a strong immune system should not have any complications with the cytomegalovirus, which is like a parasite that lives inside us and assimilates without causing us a new infection. How can this virus be reactivated? If we stop sleeping because we are studying, working, or involved in nighttime entertainment, our body's defenses will decrease. If we stop eating well, the same will happen. If we are discontent with something for a long time, our defenses will decrease.
There are people who live on an island, the dream of many, but there are islands where everything is scarce and where, due to their geographical location, hurricanes and cyclones pass, the climate is hot, humid, and pests often remain, for example, Giardia Lamblia is a parasite that in some places is like a pandemic and becomes resistant to all types of treatment. This parasite causes signs and symptoms on the skin, in the eyes, hives, and edema or swelling in the eyes appear.
Time is crucial when a person has these parasites for a long time and many medications have been tried, the body begins to react to these medications and they are interpreted as allergies which worsen the situation. The state recognized as chronic, several months with the condition, can cause other associated disorders such as difficulty sleeping due to itching, sensitivity is affected, and they stop feeling pain which exposes them to friction and wounds that are not felt but occur and become infected.
There are some resources in the United States that are very effective, a phototherapy of photonic intensity, which is applied on alternate days. A diet based on soups and special vegetables. Parenteral and oral immunomodulatory medications that recover health in record time, immediately improving associated symptoms, stabilizing emotions, and allowing to continue with the treatment for as long as required.
